Well let's kick this off. I'm a bartender and a resturant/bar. I like being a bartender but it gets stresful some times. Mostly just having to deal with my boss, he is a really nice guy, but he tends to get stressed easy and that stresses other people out. A big cause and effect thing there. I think sometimes he just lets little stuff get to him. I mean we go out after work sometimes and have a couple drinks and talk about work. I know why would you want to talk about work after you just got off but sometimes it's all we have to talk about.
One thing that bugs me is servers bitching about getting their drinks right away. They can see we are swamped but they think they should be helped first. I mean dont get me wrong, they drink needs are just as important as the people sitting at the bars but the people at the bar are paying me, not the servers. That's another thing that bugs me is that the servers don't have to tip me or the other bartender at all. I mean i'm slanging them drinks for 8 hours and don't even tip me out to say thanks. One or two have before but it's not a usual thing. I also understand that some nights i have walked out with more money then they have so i guess maybe it evens out in the grand scheme of things One big karma tip system.
Well i'm going to leave it there for now. I'm sure i'll have more. I'm sure you are probably shaking your head thinking "why did i waste me time on reading this" and to that i reply "SUCKER"
